Daniel V. Trypus (Wally) – 76 of Harmonsburg (Summit Twp.), passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at home.
He was born in Meadville on March 13, 1939, the son of the late John and Jane Trzpis. He had worked on the Erie, Erie Lackawanna and Conrail Railroads for a combined 30 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Theresa M. Trypus; a half-sister Aggie Krawiac of Erie; a brother, Jack Trypus of Meadville; a sister, Betti Reichel and her husband Maurice of Washington; a sister, Helen Parker and her husband Bill of Pueblo, Colorado and a brother Richard M. Trypus of Silver Springs, Florida; a daughter, Deborah S. Cunningham and her husband David of Conneaut Lake; a son Micheal J. Trypus and his wife, Cindy of Conneaut Lake, and a son, Eric M. Trypus and his wife Flora of Meadville; five grandchildren Jessica, Matt, Nicole, Ashley & Eric; and two great grandchildren, Rustin and Oakley and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Barbara Jean, his brothers Frank Donald Trypus, Henry Skowronski, Martin Trypus and Joseph Trypus.
