Brian was born in Greenville on May 10, 1960 a son of the late Harold and Virginia (Pearce) Palmer. On November 22, 2002 he married the former Kim Morris who survives.  Brian had been employed at the former R.D. Werner Company and was the head of maintenance at the White Cliff Nursing Home.

After having suffered from a heart attack and a stroke, Brian was able to resume employment on a part time basis in 2011 at which time he was employed by the Robert L. Brian was a car enthusiast and approximately 2 years ago, acquired a 1976 Cadillac Sedan de Ville, which he proudly took to many area car shows, where he enjoyed the many friends he was able to make.   He was an avid and die hard Cleveland Browns and Indian fan.

In addition to his wife, Kim, he is survived by two sons, Brian Palmer and his girlfriend Nicole of Sarasota, Florida and Alex Palmer of Pittsburgh; three step sons, Danny Riley and his wife Kristine of Greenville, Travis Riley of Florida, Kyle Riley and his wife Rachel of Hadley; a step daughter Sarah Riley and her fiancé Corey Slater of Fredonia; a brother, Steve Palmer of Avon, NC.  8 grandchildren, Skylar and Devon Litteral, Marissa, Alexis and Ashley Riley, Ava Slater and Bella and Paislee Riley.
