Atlee W. Miller

Atlee W. Miller, Carlton (Canal Twp.) passed away surround by his family at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.  He was 82.

He was born in Hartville, Ohio on March 13, 1935 a son of the late Roman and Mildred Slabaugh) Miller.  On September 19, 1954 he married the former Mildred Yoder who survives.  Atlee had been self employed as a carpenter for 50 years and was a member of the Pleasantview Conservative Mennonite Church, Cochranton.  He loved to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife of 63 years, he is survived by two sons, Dennis (Margaret) Miller, Louisville, OH and Delbert (Christine) Miller of Utica, 4 daughters, Debra (Larry) King of Fairplay, SC, Wanda (Marvin) Miller of Sarasota, FL., Diane (David) Miller of West Minster, SC and Charlotte Beachy of  Cochranton.  1 brother, Gary (Linda) Miller of Hammondsville, OH, 3 sisters, Jane (Francis) Miller of Virginia Beach, VA, Edna Slabaugh of Hartville, OH, Niva Miller of Hartville, OH and Elsa Wittmer of Canton, OH. 23 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers Elton and Roman Miller, Jr. and 2 sisters, Betty and Ruby Miller.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, at 10:30 am at the Pleasantview Conservative Mennonite Church, County Line Road, Cochranton.   The interment will follow at the Pleasantview Mennonite Church Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the church on Sunday from 2:00 -4:00  and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Arrangements are with Robert L. Snyder Funeral home, Sheakleyvillle.
